Hi, I’m Hannah

Welcome to A Made Home, where I make things with my hands for the home.

The process of creating art is a gift to me, the energy and beauty it hopefully provides is my gift to the whomever is open to receive it.

Thank you for being here!

Canvas Rebel recently interviewed me about my journey as an artist. They were curious about my process and what inspires me to create the art I do.

In the article, I share insights into how I developed my signature style, blending mineral-rich clay and acrylics to craft textured pieces that shimmer and evolve with the light. I also discuss my passion for sustainability and how I incorporate recycled and repurposed materials into my work.

My artistic journey began in the kitchen, where I discovered my creative flow. This led me to explore various mediums, eventually finding my passion in painting. My approach involves using naturally sourced materials, like mineral-rich dirt and wild clay, often incorporating elements found in nature.

Sustainability is central to my art. I utilizes repurposed materials, thrifted fabrics, and foraged tools like evergreen needles. This resourcefulness is reflected in my company, "A Made Home," which encourages creating meaningful art with readily available materials.
